DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRY CERTIFICATES AND DEGREES EARN:
Certificate in Christian Ministry-CCM
The Certificate in Ministry is an 18 units/credits study from the Old and New Testaments. It is comprised with doctrines and a couple courses that are relevant to the students’ everyday lives. It is given with a Spiritual and practical approach and is beneficial for spiritual growth in student’s daily living. This program would enable students to seek to be an active member in the local Church and community.
Associate Degree in Christian Ministry-ACM
Associate degree in ministry has a 60 units/credits work study which includes the study of the Bible in theory, historically and practically. The subject of Church history, and Church management (1) which teaches to prioritize. One research, life experience course is included and students will be engaged in applying practical to the theory. This degree would benefit students to have deep appreciation for God’s Word. Student can work as a Sunday school teacher, active soul-winner, group leader, work effectively under and with Pastor and other group leaders in Church setting.
Bachelors in Biblical Studies-BB
The Associate’s degree in Christian ministry with 60 units/credit is added with 60 more units to complete the Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies which total to 120 units/credits. The courses of study continue with more Christian disciplines which derives from the Bible and some added books. The student researches the writer’s text to understand the practical application to the Christians living and student’s own life. The research paper and practicum project is vital to add for major in Christian leadership which requires 30 units. The entire units for the bachelor’s in Biblical Studies.
Master’s in Christian Ministry-MCM
Masters in Christian Ministry is a combination of BB-Biblical studies, theology in Christian education in ministry with 50 Units and without NSOBS BCM an extra 15 Units =65 units are requirements for completion of Master’s program. These courses will culminate in a research paper, practicum and project. The project would be a pilot program, prayerfully, Holy Spirit strategically implemented to increase in the vision of the local Church. This project must be in unity, consented, and supervised by the Senior Pastor if you are a Church member or professional member in assembly. This Masters of Ministry course will benefit students with a deeper Christian life to serve in professional positions, leadership. Areas of study in practicum will be supervised by student’s Pastor or anyone the Clergy places in charge. A thesis of 60-70pages is required and can be compiled from some of your semester’s work.
All required courses and projects must be completed before the close of graduation’s Semester, according to the course requirements from NSOBS and professors.
Masters in Theology-MTh.
Masters in Theology delivers the same work, time of 50 units/credits. The work constitutes several theological references of authors.
Doctor in Theology-THD.
The doctor in theology is a continuation from the masters of Theology with 35 units. The final practicum project will be implemented. Research work will be for dissertation in the area of leadership, discipleship, or administration which will culminate this Doctor in Theology course of study.
At the completion of all course work and payments, there will be graduation for all NSOBS Students. Certificates and degrees would be conferred upon Students.
TRANSFER CREDIT:
Students who are transferring units/credits must have a transcript to support courses that is relevant to take. Students who hold a religious Masters and is seeking to transfer to obtain aDoctoral degree and is accepted, will complete NSOBS required courses before becoming a candidate for the doctoral degree. The Church Unitarian 1 and 2, prayer as necessity and I practicum courses must be taken. The practicum can vary depending on chief leadership position in organization. Each case will be evaluated by board of directors of NSOLEYN OUTREACH BIBLE SEMINARY (NSOBS).
